Learn how to build a real-time filtering table using the Splunk Web Framework. This screencast series uses a heavy amount of JavaScript specifically, so you should be familiar not only with Splunk but with at least some knowledge of JavaScript in order to fully follow along.
There is also a two-part blog post to correspond with these videos. Because of the length of the screencast it has been split into three parts in order to provide enough detailed information for each step.

In this first part of a three-part screencast series, learn how to create an app with the Splunk Web Framework, then build a table and input field using custom Django template tags. In the second part, I will attach the tag’s functionality with the help of Splunk’s built-in JS stack, Backbone and Underscore.
