Internship Program
Interested in a Splunk Administration or Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst role?
The internship program at Hurricane Labs exposes interns to day-to-day activities similar to that of a full time employee. In addition to Splunk, the technologies we leverage include Suricata, Git, and Linux.
Our interns enjoy the following benefits:
- Remote, hybrid, or on-site work
- Flexible scheduling (~20-28 hours / week)
- $15 / hour pay rate
- Company-supplied hardware (laptop)
We have two teams accepting interns.
Splunk Administration Interns gain experience with:
- System administration tasks,
- Log storage and retrieval methodologies,
- Software lifecycle management, and
- Event normalization and retention.
SOC Analyst Interns gain experience with:
- Investigating events,
- Resolving security issues,
- Developing defensive capabilities, and
- Helping to power our security posture–while leveraging Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) as the central SIEM tool.
