Tom Kopchak is the Director of Technical Operations at Hurricane Labs. He is a Splunk Accredited Architect and Consultant and an esteemed member of SplunkTrust. Tom has several years of experience building, designing, and managing Splunk deployments as well as managing teams of Splunk engineers. He holds a Master’s degree in Computing Security from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and has spoken at dozens of infosec conferences.

Meredith Kasper

Meredith Kasper is the Director of Technical Services at Hurricane Labs. With a background in offensive security and social engineering, Meredith has contributed across the community through mentorship and has spoken at a variety of conferences and events to help others find their passion in Cybersecurity.

Josh Neubecker

Joshua Neubecker, Lead Security Engineer at Hurricane Labs, blends expertise in Splunk’s Search Processing Language (SPL), detection engineering, and SOAR use case development with a passion for cybersecurity. His extensive experience, marked by innovative client solutions and volunteer work with the Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC), showcases his dedication to advancing the field.

Cameron Schmidt

Cameron Schmidt is a staff engineer at Hurricane Labs. He has over 10 years of experience with Splunk, developing dozens of apps to integrate products with Splunk, Enterprise Security, and Splunk SOAR. He also builds and maintains many of the internal tools used at Hurricane Labs to automate engineering tasks and orchestrate security responses.

Jonathan Gavris

Jonathan Gavris is a SOAR Analyst at Hurricane Labs. He holds the Splunk SOAR Certified Automation Developer and Splunk Certified Cybersecurity Defense Analyst certifications. Jonathan has consulted with clients, ranging from medium sized to Fortune 500, to elevate their automation and ultimately improve security workflows using Splunk SOAR.

Erin Call

Erin Call is an Architect at Hurricane Labs. She holds the Splunk Core Certified Power User certification. Erin works with clients to develop detections that meet their unique business needs.
